  • Highly Recommended Blogs For The Top 10 Emerging Blogs of 2008-Edited

As part of a hands-on exercise, we were asked to participate in The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2008. I will choose 10 blogs, either from a list of recommended blogs in the writing project site, or I can nominate a blog that has not been shortlisted yet, but is mention-worthy.

Without further ado, let's begin the nominating!

    1. Missing Carlo-A very personal and touching blog. It's a rarity in the net.

    2. Anak ni Kulapo-Included in the highly recommended blogs, I find this guy's blog highly entertaining. Written in Tagalog, and peppered with a lot of Tagalog slang, you won't believe that this dude lives in Venice Beach, CA.

    3. The Pocket-Sized Guide to Blogging-The name is interesting. Skelliewag. But what makes this blog noteworthy is his articles on blogging, how to raise your internet traffic, writing tips, and everything else beginning, even veteran bloggers need to learn.

    4. The Wisdom Journal-I don't normally read busines-related type of books and blogs, but this one has tips not just on business and money, but applications to everyday life. His article on How To Iron a Shirt is my personal favorite.

    5. Fact and Fiction-Aye. I have always had a thing for down-to-earth blogs of ordinary people like me. And this is one of those interesting ones.

    6. Filipino Voices-As a political science graduate, this is the kind of blogs I'd really like to read.

    7. The Not So Talented DJ Montano-Intrigue. Need I say more?

    8. Blog Ni Inday-One word: ROFLCopter! Pinoys everywhere looking for intelligent humor will surely be delighted with this blog.

    9. Geek Diva-Who says being a geek translates to being a loser? This lady's blog shows that geek girls kick ass.

    10. Video Games And Gaming-Because I am a gamer. Period. XD

There you have it, folks, my top 10 blogs. ^_^

Huge a** edit: Due to a few requisited that weren't met, I had to change some of the entries.

Sorry to those that I had to kick off my list. I love you all anyway <3

Hi there. It seems the following started before July 2007:

    1. The Theologians Cafe
    2. No Way I'm Gonna Blog About That
    3. SqueakySoul

Let me know when you update this post - should you replace the 3 above so I can note them.
    Thank you.
